By using the hosted Markdown Studio service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The code and the service
The Markdown Studio source code is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). These terms cover your use of the hosted app at app.markdownstudio.com, not the code itself. Your rights to the code come from the license.
Your content
You own everything you write. You give us only the permission we need to store, sync and display your content so the service works for you.
Accounts
Signing in uses your Google account. You're responsible for keeping it secure and for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Please don't use the service to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone else's rights
- Distribute malware or attack the service or its users
- Use the import-from-link feature to reach content you're not allowed to access
- Overload or interfere with the service
Share links
A share link carries the shared note or folder, images included, inside the link itself. Anyone with the link can open it without signing in, and opening it adds an editable copy to their own library. Share links only with people you trust.
Pro plan
Pro isn't available yet. Its terms and pricing will be published here before it launches.
Availability
We work hard to keep the service running, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Keep copies of anything important: you can export a note, or your whole library as a ZIP, at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Perssonify Labs isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
Ending your account
You can stop using the service at any time. To delete your account and everything synced to it, write to hello@markdownstudio.com.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
